Hi, I’m Ellery!
I’m Ellery Lockwood, a registered, licensed occupational therapist in California. I specialize in sensory integration and trauma-informed care for children between the ages of 0 and 10, and hold a specialty certification in advanced ADHD rehabilitation and treatment.
I work with a wide range of diagnoses and believe that a holistic, strengths-based approach — one that centers play — is the best way to support pediatric clients and their families.
What I Do
At Brain Waves Occupational Therapy, every session is built around your child’s individual needs. Play isn’t just the medium — it’s the method. Whether that looks like a sensory obstacle course, a fine motor challenge, or something in between, the goal is always meaningful progress that feels like fun.
I’m passionate about educating parents, teachers, and the wider community about the importance of sensory integration and child development. You don’t need to have all the answers before reaching out — that’s what I’m here for.
